Jonathan was born and raised in the Greek Orthodox Church but, by God's grace, his mother heard the Gospel on Christian radio in 1989, was saved, and started attending a Bible church with Jonathan. From age 9 he heard the message of the Gospel countless times in various evangelical churches, but it wasn't until 21 years of age that the Lord opened his heart to the Truth and brought the Gospel to bear in power over his life (Rom. 1:16).
In his 20s and 30s, the Lord raised up several godly men in Jonathan's life who, unbeknownst to him at the time, mentored him spiritually to prepare him for His call to the ministry in 2019, first as an bi-vocational elder, and later in June 2021 as a full-time elder.
Jonathan and his beloved wife Rebecca have been married 14 years and they have 3 dear children (Samuel, 13; Benjamin, 11; and Hannah, 9).
Just a sampling of influences apart from the Scriptures that are near to Jonathan's heart (in no particular order): Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, C.H. Spurgeon, George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards, the Puritans, John Macarthur, R.C. Sproul, Sinclair Ferguson, Sugel Michelén, Stephen Wellum and Peter Gentry.

In 1972, at the age of 18, Stan came to Christ. By God's grace, he has been serving the Lord and His Church for over fifty years in various ways and capacities. Stan and his family have enjoyed God's goodness and grace in so many ways. Stan and his wife, Eva, have been married 49 years and have two children (who both love and serve the Lord) and five grandchildren who all live close by (bonus!!).
